We welcome everyone As you may know, the BSA has been in the news consistently over the last few months regarding it's anti-gay policy. While we await their decision on the national stage, we wanted to affirm and communicate to our own Pack members and community, that we, as the Pack and Den Leaders of Pack 78 are open to everyone and against all forms of discrimination. We welcome the news that BSA is reconsidering it's policies in this area, and regardless of the national decision; Pack 78, will continue our open policy to embrace all families regardless of race, religion, skin color, national origin, disabilities or sexual orientation.
InstructionsIf you are in the Mountain View, Los Altos and/or Los Altos Hills community or attend either Bullis Charter School or Gardner Bullis school, please follow these steps to join our pack: - Contact the den leader for the appropriate age for your son's current year in school - the list is visible on our dens' page
- Complete the Cub Scout Youth application on our Forms Page
- Pay the annual dues on-line here or by check made out to "Pack 78" ($150 for the first child, $125 per additional sibling)
- Mail or hand deliver the completed and signed form along with the check to:

Notes on fees - The fees include rocket and derby pinewood kits, caps, kerchief and handbook for each new year after Tigers, as well as the expenses for most pack events
- The fees do not include individual den activities, uniforms or fees for overnights (e.g. cub-on, sleepovers, camp outs...)
- The Tigers, as well as all kids new to Pack 78, need to purchase the entire uniform, cap and kerchief
- The Webelos need to purchase their own new, tan colored scout shirt
